A dire game saw our recent poor form continue as we failed to break down struggling Bolton at the Reebok stadium.Positives:
Our possession and general play was far superior, ruling the game from start to finish. Just a shame we couldn't convert that superiority into goals.
Negatives:
There was no cutting edge and no passion. The players looked tired and disinterested and we lacked any real creativity or penetration.
Conclusion:
A drab and dismal performance in a game we really should have won. If we want that vital 4th place finish, we are going to have to improve, and fast.
